2023 Nuits-Saint-Georges, Maxime Cheurlin Noëllat

This comes from both domaine fruit (Bas de Combe and Barrière) and contracted fruit (Les Longecourts and Pertuis Marchaux), bringing together sites from both the northern and southern sectors of the appellation. The southern fruit adds structure and earth alongside a classical Nuits firmness, while the parcels from the northern part that lie just below the 1ers Crus of Les Boudots, Cras and Murgers, add polish and a seductive aromatic element with lovely silky tannins. This is a very good village wine of real complexity and value.
