Fresh, textured and harmonious, this blend of Sauvignon and 20% Semillon was inspired by the great whites of Bordeaux. Just 1,000 bottles were produced. The Semillon hails from Olifantskloof (Elephant’s Ravine) while the Sauvignon was grown by Miles Mossop in Stellenbosch. Duncan Savage, arguably the prime exponent of South African Sauvignon Blanc, oversaw the winemaking – which included judicious lees stirring and ageing the wine in used barriques.
